Having grown up in Almonte and now raising my young family here, it is an honour to care for women and their growing families with our wonderful team.

I have a Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University, Master’s of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto and a Medical Doctorate from McMaster University. I completed my residency with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine with a specific focus on obstetrics in both rural and high-volume settings.

Having cared for new families in many hospitals, the Almonte General Hospital is an especially lovely place to give birth. The support families receive from our caring nurses, doctors and other staff reflects Almonte’s “friendly town” reputation.

Like my colleagues, I want to provide you with the best possible support during this special time of life. We are attentive to maternal mental health, breastfeeding support and providing you information to empower your pregnancy, birth and postpartum experiences!
