Meet our Team
Our team includes family physicians and several interdisciplinary health providers, including a psychiatrist, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, registered nurses, registered practical nurses, psychotherapists, and dietitian.
Dr. Laura Santos joined our team in October this year. She has taken over from Dr. Graeme McKillop, who retired after many years of dedicated service to his patients and the community of Almonte.
Originally from Brazil, Dr. Santos completed her medical degree there before moving to Canada with her family. She navigatred the Canadian medical licensing process and completed her post-graduate training at the Ottawa Hospital Academic Family Health Team – Civic Campus.
Both during her residency and since completing her training Dr. Santos spent time at the OVFHT. We are excited to have her as a part of our team.

Late and No Show polices for the Pediatricians
Appointment will be cancelled and need to be rescheduled if patient/family is:
- 10 minutes or more late for 30 minute appointment
- 15 minutes or more late for 45-60 minute appointment
- 20 minutes or more late for 75-90 minute appointment
No-Show Fees
- $50 for missed follow-up appointment (30-45 min)
- $100 for missed new consult appointments (60-90 min)
Patient/family will not be re-booked until the NO-SHOW fee is paid.
